 If you are an employee in India and have a Universal Account Number (UAN) but haven't activated it yet, here are the steps to activate it:


Visit the official UAN member portal at https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/

Click on the "Activate UAN" button on the right side of the page.

Fill in your details like UAN, name, date of birth, mobile number, and captcha.

Click on the "Get Authorization Pin" button. You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.

Enter the OTP and click on the "Validate OTP and Activate UAN" button.

Once your UAN is activated, you can log in to the portal using your UAN and password.

To check your PF balance online, follow these steps:


Visit the official EPFO website at https://www.epfindia.gov.in/site_en/index.php.

Click on the "Our Services" tab and select "For Employees" from the dropdown menu.

Click on "Member Passbook" under the "Services" section.

Log in using your UAN and password.

Select the member ID of the organization for which you want to check the balance.

Click on "View Passbook" to check your PF balance.
